For the First time in Forever

It has been ages since I wrote and more so maintain a blog. The last blog I religiously kept was our wedding website, which got expired as the premium web-hosting term was not renewed. I could've purchased a CD containing all the posts that will serve as a souvenir, but yes, you are right, I didn't, "we" didn't. It was a decision my husband and I shared four years ago. Although I wanted to have a long-lasting wedding website, but our priorities just changed after we got married. Its no longer about wedding preps, review of a wedding supplier, whether what wedding gown fits perfectly, what type of flowers and bouquet interest me, or question of tuxedo or barong for groom.

And so after Wedding Window has finally deleted our website (of course they sent us reminders and all) and its contents last 2010, my blogging stopped right then and there. With some occasional write ups in Multiply (also discontinued) I would say, this will be indeed my "first time in forever" to write and blog again.

I was talking a while back about priorities after getting married, well for me and my husband for that matter, its all about family now. Although I believe it's a bit too late (and too much details to write on a blog) to talk about my journey in the last four years, from the time we tried to conceive to actually having kids (no more details promise),  so I would most probably start in what is current - I am now a mother of two, a 3 year old Elle and a 1 year old Jayce. I am a work in progress when it comes to motherhood. I am just glad that I have my Mom here with me to guide me through this totally new stage. So this blog would not be at all about motherhood, but mostly about my newly developed "cutie mark" ever since I had kids, that is party planning, kids party ideas, needs and tips and maybe questions as well.

I love throwing parties, and when I had Elle and Jayce, year after year I got obsessed with birthday party planning... And of course the smiles on my kids' faces when they blow their birthday candles just melts me away...

So good luck to me, and I am hoping that my pages would be of help to all party moms out there in UAE ...

(Party paraphernalia during my son's 1st Birthday Up & Away party, details will be posted here soon - please watch out)
