Showering Baby Marko in AJs...

There is just something I wanted to share before the long holidays, before I hibernate. This is about that one cute detail on the event we had last week, Baby Marko's surprise baby shower! 

We did manage to keep it a surprise at least for Mommy Cherry, as we involved Daddy Mark on the planning. It always a good idea to get someone close to the person you are trying to surprise to be an accomplice, and in this case it had to be Daddy Mark.

The baby shower was disguised as our usual HH weekly gathering, very easy to pull off! She didn't sensed it at all, even with Daddy Mark's requesting her to wear her AJ4 that night, but still arrived in Birkenstock :)

We planned the whole thing over FB messenger, and the group decided to have an Air Jordan shoes inspired theme, since members of the group are mostly AJs fanatics, and especially Daddy Mark has prepared all types of AJ shoes waiting for his unico hijo's coming. 

Even before we planned the whole thing I already had a cake design in mind. Indeed the cake carried the entire theme. This one cute cake said it all.

AJ 11 Chocolate Cake

The cake was made by a talented cake artist Ms. Belle of How Sweets Cakes. I just sent her the photo of the AJ11 baby shoes and only told her about the colour combination, and voila made a very CUTE cake that had surprised everyone, especially the Mommy and Daddy to be. 

In planning a party, one could go way over the top and have it all well coordinated, or could go very simple like putting one or two elements that would pretty much do all the work for your party, will turn out as good as the other. Most especially if you are organising it to make someone feel special and blessed.

The rest of the party elements were put together by all HH members, all printed materials were done by sis Cha, printed and arranged by sis Yancy, including a very cute "See You Soon Marko" banners. Red and White Balloons from Party Centre were blown up to complete the look.

Baby showers I believe are the most fun, it gives everybody in the party a very positive aura especially the parents-to be. Be it a surprise or an organised one, throwing an event for that little baby still inside the womb, just waiting to go out to see the world, is thrilling.

We are all looking forward to meet you Baby Marko!
